Tatsu Izakaya is a Japanese restaurant in Denver whose sole focus is ramen, sushi, and sake, with their dishes introducing their take on authentic Japanese. I have been responsible for designing as well as maintaining all of their marketing needs. One of my first tasks was to produce new menus, as their old ones were in desperate need of replacing. By working closely with the printing company, I put together a tri-fold menu that would be capable of being laminated as well as folded. I then was asked to redesign their take-out menu, as it would later be mailed to thousands of potential customers around the Denver University area. More recently, they were in need of my services in order to recreate their website, requiring the use of SquareSpace in order to stay within their desired budget for ongoing maintenance. For the restaurant’s storefront, I also designed and installed their main window display. Lastly, utilizing a social media calendar, I continue to post and oversee their Instagram account and plan on expanding to other social media platforms in the near future. For the photography work, I also took images of every single food item and these would continue to be used in all of their projects at this moment.
