JACKSON POLLOCK
Brand & Responsive Web Design
Jackson Pollock was an influential American painter and the leading force behind the abstract expressionist. He was also greatly known for his unique style of drip painting. A great artist who deserved a website that reflected such talents. I was given the challenge of redesigning the official Jackson Pollock website that properly exhibited his many great works and life. For inspiration, I looked towards his paintings and other websites that showcased someone’s work and experiences. Reorganizing the website’s content to make it more user-friendly and accessible was something that I aimed to do, as well. I based the colors for the website off of his paintings as to compliment his work. For the logo, I used a tall sans serif with bold colors to help it stand out.
